Visit at the Winery and Tasting with lunch
Casa Svizzera is the guesthouse of the Germano Angelo winery and offers to its guests the opportunity to visit the seventeenth-century cellars of La Morra (the premises which were once the Alba Bishop's estate, purchased by the Germano family in the sixties and used for the production and aging of fine wines) and to taste its own range of wines accompanied by the delicacies prepared by the farm il Bosco delle Galline Volanti (the Wood of the Flying Hens).
The offer includes a visit to the vineyards surrounding the winery and the place of manufacture, bottling and aging, after which you can enjoy a selection of our wines during lunch.

Lunch is served by the Il Bosco delle Galline Volanti farm that uses vegetables grown on its own plots with natural farming techniques as well as ingredients from local farms that are part of a small network called "the righteous factors".
This is a unique way to savor the more authentic Piedmontese taste, trying out the new and ancient Germano family recipes handed down from mother to daughter and reissued by Viviana Germano, who designed each dish to bring out the best from the Germano's wines, produced with great care and skill by her brother Davide, fifth-generation linked to the world of wine.
How it takes place
The experience is unique and unforgettable, so much that many people once tried, then they chose it as a gift for a loved one.
The offer is divided into two moments:
Visit to the vineyards and premises of production/aging at Annunziata of La Morra.
The first part includes a visit to the historic Giachini vineyard, which surrounds the property, during which the various processes for the cultivation of the vine are explained, from the vineyard you then enter the garden and continue inside the cellar through the various rooms dedicated to the processing and bottling the wine, then reaching the final rooms of aging and exposure of historic bottles in the seventeenth-century farmhouse belonging to the curia Vescovile di Alba.
The visit starts at 11:30 and lasts about an hour.
Lunch with wine tasting in Barolo at the renovated historic wine cellar.
For the second part, we move to the historic center of Barolo, in what was the first family winery in the 30s of the 20th century, where the lunch is served. The courses are four and include: an appetizer, a first course, a second course and a dessert, ideal for those who want to explore the pairing of wines and taste delicious dish, each symbol of a traditional recipe. The dishes are prepared with fresh products from il Bosco delle Galline Volanti farm in the kitchen of the agriturismo.
The dishes, always seasonal, give the opportunity to range in the ancient and modern Piedmontese food and wine culture.
Lunch starts at 13:00.
It is possible to visit the winery only or to do the tasting only upon request and availability.
We will be happy to prepare
